I don't have many rules because I delight too much in breaking them. One of my rules is this: If I wouldn't eat it, I don't put it on my skin. Another rule is: If I don't know what it is, I don't eat it (read the ingredients and see what I mean). I believe I can stay healthy with only these two rules. This is why, at Bruja Botanicals, we use only food-grade products, starting with a base of organic olive or peanut oils. We infuse these with organically grown or ethically wildcrafted herbs. We then add cocoa butter, beeswax, and/or essential oils, depending on the product. Enjoy!

At Bruja Botanicals we use cobalt glass jars and bottles instead of plastic. We minimize plastic [used only in the lids] because certain chemicals [1] used in bonding plastics have been shown to be endocrine disruptors. [2] Manifestations of endocrine disruption are hormonal imbalance and disruption of hormone receptors.
