Salves and Creams
Our salves and massage oils begin with a mixture of herbs and either olive or peanut oil. The mixture is allowed to sit in a windowsill for at least a fortnight [two weeks] to infuse the herbal properties into the oil. This is called maceration. The mixture is then strained to remove the herbs. For balms and massage gels, beeswax and cocoa butter are added to the the herbal-infused oil. For scented massage oils, only essential oils are added.

All products come in cobalt blue, glass jars. The available sizes are as follows:
4 oz., straight side , 1.7 oz., straight side ,
1.2 oz., apple shape w/cork lid , 0.83 oz., straight side w/cork lid .

Grandma's Special Stuff herbal salve
Grandma's special stuff is the best for soothing dry, cracked skin, rashes, and abrasions. It is made from herbal infused, organic olive oil. We add beeswax and cocoa butter to solidify the oil into a salve. The herbs are specially formulated for promoting healing and soothing skin conditions: calendula, chamomile, chickweed, comfrey, mullein, witch hazel and yarrow.

Joint-be-Nimble herbal salve
Joint-be-Nimble is specially formulated for easing joint and tendon pain. The base is both olive and peanut oil. The herbs are: arnica, chamomile, comfrey, capsicum (cayenne), lavender, rosemary, sage, stinging nettle, wintergreen.
