Walk of Hope: Suicide Awareness
Trustee Inmon and the IVC community came together for the Walk of Hope—a one-mile loop around campus to raise awareness for suicide prevention. The event served as a powerful reminder of the importance of mental health, connection, and showing up for one another.

OCBC First Responders Dinner
Board President Carolyn Inmon and Trustees Marcia Milchiker and TJ Prendergast recently joined this special event to honor the dedication and service of our local first responders who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe. This was an opportunity to express our gratitude on behalf of SOCCCD and to strengthen our connections with the public safety agencies that partner with our colleges. We are proud of the programs at Saddleback College and Irvine Valley College that train future first responders and support the vital work these heroes perform every day.

OCBC Legislative Day 2025
Trustee Inmon enjoyed an amazing legislative day hosted by the Orange County Business Council. Leaders of OC gathered for a one-day impactful conference. Thank you for the opportunity to hear from our policy makers from across the region on all things business, housing, environment, education and more. We can't wait until next year.

Meeting with Rep. Dave Min
Admin from IVC, along with Trustee Inmon met with Rep. Dave Min at Irvine Valley College during a visit in his home district. With his help, we can truly address housing and food insecurity for our students. We are so thankful to partner with him in this important work.

Visit with Senator Choi
Trustee Inmon was grateful for the opportunity to meet with California State Senator Steven Choi to talk about SOCCCD, the future of Orange County's workforce, and how to support students attend college with less debt and more in-demand jobs to help grow the local economy.

All of our Board of Trustees were thrilled to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Saddleback@ATEP – a cutting-edge campus designed to connect education with innovation. From state-of-the-art automotive technology labs preparing the next generation of skilled technicians, to modern culinary facilities where students will master their craft, this campus is a hub for high-demand, high-growth careers. Together, we’re building pathways that drive opportunity and flavor the future at the ATEP campus in Tustin. Many thanks to all who attend to celebrate this momentous occasion.
